First batch of sewing conisted of dresses for the girls. Not pictured is a raspberry Playtime Tunic. It was in the wash when I took the picture.
This is the Playtime Dress. This is one of Oliver + S's new fall patterns. Love this! It's a very classic knit dress (though it could be made in a woven) that I know I will make again and again. Oliver + S patterns tend to lend themselves to being made over and over and over. It comes with a legging pattern as well.
I always struggled with making a professional looking leggings. Well with these instructions, my leggings looked great. And the fit is nice too.
Here is the Croquet Dress for Grace. In a size 12. I assure you this one looks much better on Grace than how it looks haning on the hanger.
This Apple Picking Dress is for Margot. She wore it to school for Picture Day. I can't wait to see them!
Last, this is the Ice Cream Social Dress, also for Grace.
Here it is on Grace. Worn with belt, I think it's the perfect look for a 10 year old girl!
Here is the next batch of sewing!
A Roller Skate Dress for Grace. She picked out the fabric. We both love the lime green collar on it.
And these are for Margot. From the left it's a pair of Nature Walk Pants, a Sailboat Skirt made from the left over fabric from Grace's jacket, and a sailboat top.
I intend for Margot to wear these together.
A comfy pair of Nature Walk pants perfect for changing into after school. I still need to make her a top to match.
Or else she'd have to wear these together and she might look like she's wearing a pair of scrubs.
Right now, I am working on matching outfits for my nieces who will be celebrating their birthdays soon. After those are completed, I think I'll do some sewing for myself. Did you Liesl put out patterns for women? I have plans already for a couple fo skirts and tunic. I can't wait.
After that, I have another skirt planned for Grace, a Book Report Dress for Margot and a knit shirt to match the Nature Walk Pants. Then it will be about time to start Chrsitmas sewing!
