Here Margot is wearing the Phoebe Sweater on top of the Jump Rope dress I just finished. I think this is possible the cutest outfit I've ever made. Don't you agree?
Here's the latest Jump Rope dress I made. This is version B. Margot was not thrilled version I made for her first day of school. She disliked that version because of the waist sash and bow.
This is Margot on her first day of school. See that offensive sash and bow? She hates it. Such a silly girl because I think this one is pretty darn cute too.
Anyhow, back to Version B. I love it! It's such a great dress. It's really such a great pattern. I could make it over and over. Version B is great for winter because it looks so cute with a thick pair of tights underneath. I also wore a full slip on Margot for extra warmth.
I have lots of projects I am working on that I need to update you on. I just finished a big project- the cross stitch birth announcement for my niece Naomi. I also finished some more sewing for Margot. A pair of Nature Walk Pants, a Sailboat Skirt, a Music Box Jumper and most recently the Music Class Blouse.
I've ordered some fabric for some sewing for me and Brent. A vest for Brent, a dress and some loungewear for me. My machine needs to go in to be serviced so hopefully I'll get it back quickly and working better than ever. The buttonholer has been acting up.

Sarah,it is completely adorable as is Margot.
ReplyDeleteWho can pick what they will wear? Elsa has rejected her yellow lace dress and Zara has claimed it.

You are correct - it is the cutest outfit ever - I love Jump Rope view B the best, and paired with that jumper/sweater - perfect!
ReplyDeleteHope your machine gets fixed quickly :-)
ReplyDeleteI love both dresses and Margot looks adorable. Your sweater is beautiful and you should be proud.
Most definitely the cutest outfit ever! I adore the sweater...I haven't knitted since MG was a baby but I'm tempted. Or maybe I'll just put in an order with Grandma.;)
